Oh Patricia Cornwell’s books would make for a good TV adaptation. I went off the books a while ago but there’s enough crime and drama in them for an action-packed and intriguing show. There is always the market for a crime drama based on forensics so I bet it would be picked up almost instantly.

I need to re-read them all. I had most of the series in high school, but they accidentally got thrown away when I went to college.

Oh no, that sucks. I think I actually bought most of mine when I was at university because I knew I would read them very quickly and they wouldn’t take away too much time from the readings I had to look at.
I started re-reading them earlier on in the year and whilst I thought they were okay and interesting, they weren’t as good as I first thought them to be. I only got to book 3 or 4 but it was around that point where there was a big time gap between two of the books (I think two and three) and it threw me. I do want to continue re-reading them though, even if they are no longer the crime books I automatically reach for.

I was worried I would feel the same way when I decided to re-read them. We will have to compare notes when I finally get my hands on most of them again. It is going to be expensive to replace them all, lol.

It will. Maybe you can find some in a charity shop or online for cheap somewhere. It might just be my charity shops but I tend to always see at least one of the books on the shelves. Or the library. In fact I think I have some missing books too so the library might be worth using.

I may have to check some used book stores. My local library is extremely small, so I doubt they would have them, but I will check. She has one out about Jack the Ripper too that I want to look for.

Mine is a small library too but I think I’ve seen some. And I’d forgotten about that Jack Ripper book. That interests me too.
