Happy Saturday Lovelies!
I’m coming to you with a late evening beauty review. I hope you all have had a great weekend so far! I have been feeling a little under the weather, so I thought tonight would be perfect to try out the NuSkin Clay Pack Deep Cleansing Masque before taking a relaxing shower!
For those who don’t know what NuSkin is, it is an amazing company that offers bath, beauty, and health products. I am proud to be an independent distributor for the company, so if you have any questions, please let me know. You can find my shopping website here.
I was excited to begin selling these amazing products because I knew I could come to you with my honest reviews about them and let you know which products work and which products I wouldn’t recommend. As a blogger, those of you who have followed me for a while, know that I am all about honesty. I wouldn’t want to sell you something I didn’t love to begin with.
Our company has a wide variety of products to choose from, and I have honestly loved each product I have tried so far (except for the Glacial Mud Mask which tingles more than I like and has a very messy, runny consistency). So, tonight I decided to try the Cleansing Masque and let you know how it made my skin feel.
Besides feeling sick, it was time to wash, as my skin was feeling a bit grimy and oily.
The application was easy to do with my hands because the masque was a thick, spreadable consistency that did not begin to dry until it sat on my face for about 5 minutes.
The instructions said to leave it on about 10-20 minutes and then rinse with warm water. So I rinsed it in my shower.
My face felt refreshed, clean, and not oily. My skin felt calm and soft. It did feel a tad bit dry until I applied my favorite toner from Aveda. The masque had an odd feeling when I washed it off. It almost felt like I didn’t rinse it all, but clearly I did.
Besides touching my skin and feeling the slight dryness, my skin felt great after using the masque. The masque dried on my face, but did not tingle, burn, or feel too incredibly stiff like most masques. It didn’t have an overpowering smell, and it was easy to apply. It seemed to clean really well and made my chin blemishes slightly less noticeable (opposite side of my piercing). The only thing I didn’t really like was the odd feeling when I rinsed it and the slight dryness afterward. The instructions do say to follow up with a toner, so that would combat the dry feeling. I would rate this 4-4.5 stars out of 5.
Please feel free to visit my website, or let me know if you are interested in purchasing this masque for yourself.
