The Book Robin Hoods

Hello authors and fellow book bloggers!

Today I am skipping the beauty review to talk about something very exciting! One of my favorite authors, M.C. Frank, had this amazing idea. She wanted to create a safe haven for book bloggers and authors to connect. She created a gorgeous website, and a group called The Book Robin Hoods.

This group is very important, and I am proud to be a member. A lot of you have read several of my posts talking about supporting Indie/Self Published/Lesser Known authors. This group makes that possible.

About The Book Robin Hoods:

Welcome to The book Robin Hoods, a group of young people who share a love of justice, unprobable heroes and books. We defend the weak, write and read, watch movies and create yummy aesthetics.
The Book Robin Hoods is an author-reader service that connects writers with a group of amazing readers. This group of wonderful, creative people is for you if you:

-Are a writer seeking feedback/beta readers/reviewers/book bloggers/promotion for your story. Unpublished writers and published authors are welcome. You will be asked for information and your profile will be created, so that readers can choose what appeals to them.

-Are a book reviewer with a prominent book blog, looking to connect with and promote amazing authors, or just a reader who wants to give feedback. You can choose from our authors/writers, and start working with them.

All types of readers and writers are welcome here! We hope you enjoy your stay and that you find something to read or someone to read your work.

At our website, you can fill out a form and tell us exactly what you’re looking for (promotion, readers, free books, beta readers, anything) and then we’ll create a profile for you so that you can be matched up with your perfect bookish match.

  1. It’s a fantastic idea! I’m currently drowning in books so I will wait some weeks before applying but it will definitely be saved somewhere 😉

    1. Yes, please check it out! M.C. Frank has a form for all the reviewers to fill out so she can select the ones that feel reliable and she has already made it clear that anyone who doesn’t follow the rules, or accepts a book and doesn’t review it, will be asked to leave the group. I think its a great idea and will really help out the authors that sign up! 🙂

      1. That’s all right! The internet is a fast moving place (unless you have dial-up! 😛 ) It’s hard to keep up with everyone.
If any catch your eye, I’m always beyond happy to share my work with reviewers. 😉

      2. It really is. I was keeping up with my emails for a while and commenting on other blogs, but getting the flu in December, and having family plans with the holidays, and my in laws visiting this past week, I couldn’t keep up, haha. It’s hard to know whats going on in the blog world if you can’t give the proper amount of time to your fellow bloggers. I am working on catching back up this week now that I have quiet time again, 😛.

I will definitely let you know what catches my attention. I am always happy to read and help promote and I hope The Book Robin Hoods helps too! 🙂

      3. Definitely! The Book Robin Hoods was a great tip!
I think a lot of us took a break around the holidays. It’s really hard not to–maybe we’d all be better off if we all agreed to officially take a two-week break or something? Then we could all just get right back to it all together!

      4. It’s kind of funny, because I noticed a lot of bloggers–or almost all bloggers–scheduled their posts in advance of the holidays, because they knew they’d be busy. But, then, if all of us are busy, then who are those scheduled posts for?
Haha, we can be a silly lot sometimes. It makes things fun.
