The Tag:

A character appearance that you misread or imagined differently.

Felix from No Ordinary Star by M.C Frank is one that I initially read wrong, but quickly corrected myself and was able to visualize him better.

A character name that you have been pronouncing wrong.

I feel like I have always pronounced Vasilisa’s name wrong from The Bear and the Nightingale.

An overused trope that is your guilty pleasure.

I have always loved the strong ya female trope. It never gets old.

A cliche character type that you like better on screen than reading about.

I would have to say the mean girl. They are more entertaining on screen.

Have you ever not read or completed a required-reading book for school?

I’m sure I have, but can’t think of any right now, besides maybe The Old Man and the Sea. I may have finished it off with cliff notes because it was so boring!

Have you ever skipped (or wanted to) a chapter from the point of view of a character you weren’t interested in?

I’m sure I’ve wanted to skip a chapter, but never have in fear of missing something.

Have you ever canceled social plans to read a book?

No. Of course not. Just don’t ask my mother…

Have fun if you would like to do this tag! I would love to see your answers!
