I hope you are having a lovely weekend! I know it’s a late post, but I wanted to talk a little bit about the Sol Vox Box I received complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster, and a couple more products I have tried. I was super excited to get this box, and I know you have already seen a review about one of the products. So, tonight I will be reviewing two more products.
This box came with the Eva NYC Rock a Curl Cream, the Wet n’ Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Quad in Silent Treatment, the ColourPop Lippie Stick in Oh Snap, and the Rituals of Sakura Foaming Shower Gel (which I have reviewed). I will probably be trying the curl cream this week (though I don’t have curly hair, lol), and tonight’s review is on the eyeshadow and lipstick.

Starting with the Wet n’ Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Quad in Silent Treatment. I actually really loved it. It was easy to use. I had never used an eyeshadow set like this before that tells you which shade to put where. I usually just make my own combos and figure it out for myself, but it was nice to have the different designated shades. The shades were each very pigmented, highly blendable, and wore very well through the day, and out in the desert heat! I would give this particular product a 5 star rating.
Underneath it I used the Kat Von D Lock It Eyeshadow Color Corrector, and on top of everything I used the ColourPop Aquamarine Setting Spray. For the pop of color I used a ColourPop pressed eyeshadow.
As for the ColourPop Lippie Stix in Oh Snap, I wasn’t completely in love, but didn’t totally hate it either. I loved the pigmentation. I liked the color. I wasn’t a fan of the formula. My lips were freshly exfoliated and moisturized, and the lippie still felt dry and looked a little cakey. It applied smoothly, but did not reapply as smoothly, and it did not last through the day, or through eating. I would probably give it 3 stars.
Up close after initial application.
After eating and walking around a festival for a few hours.
Reapplication. Yes, my foundation was cakey too from the heat!
Overall, I was still excited to use these products, and I LOVED the look I created today!
