A little late today, but Happy Tuesday! I decided to do another Top 5 Tuesday post. For those who don’t know, Top 5 Tuesday is a book meme created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm. Shanah created this weekly event as a way to explore different, fun topics, so make sure you visit her amazing blog and check out her Top 5 Tuesday posts!
Top 5 Worlds I Want to Live In:
A vivid storybook type world full of faeries? Sign me up!
Traveling across the universe, Doctor Who style? Yassssss!
My favorite set of faerie tale retellings takes place in the fun, beautiful Kingdom of Verglas and I would love to be a part of it!
Regency London, a world of proper ladies and gentleman, parties, tea, and a touch of otherworldly danger, sounds like an interesting place to be!
A virtual world, full of 80’s references, where anything is possible? I’m game!

Every time I see Ready Player One on a list today (and that’s been A LOT!) I face palm myself…….. I can’t believe I forgot to add it to my list!! I feel like such an idiot! I’m a child of the 80’s and every one of my favourites was mentioned (even my favourite Atari game Galaga!) Fantastic choices!

So, you kind of lived in the world, minus the virtual reality. Maybe it’s why you forgot it because you got to experience some of the best bits of it 🙂

Ooh love the blog redesign!! Also The Dark Days Club would be pretty interesting to live in w that supernatural meets historic vibe! Also I didn’t read ready player one but I saw the movie and totally agree that it would be SO cool to escape there!! Lovely answers and great post 🙂

Thanks! Yes, I would love to live in the DDC world, and RPO! And they are both so different too, but so exciting!

Lol, Sophie. I think if I lived in high society I could, but I definitely couldn’t survive in the lower class conditions.

What I wouldn’t give to go to one of the portal worlds in Seanan McGuire’s Wayward Children series. And Middle-Earth. And Narnia. So many worlds, so little time.

I love that you picked Ready Player One. That and the world in Warcross would make my list as well.

It’s fun to imagine living in all the different settings from our favorite books. I’m not so sure I’d actually like to live in the world of Ready Player One, though (even if the VR does seem amazing). 🙂

I think it would be quite interesting, but I’m also a big gamer too, so that could be what’s drawing me, lol.
