What do you think about the choice? Have you read it yet? It was definitely a fitting choice because the setting of the series leads us in to our December Theme!
Twitter Chat:
We had another fun chat talking about all the important qualities we look for in middle books. If you missed the chat, feel free to click on the links below and add your replies to our questions!
December Theme:
Winter is almost upon us, so naturally our December Theme would be:
December 3rd will be post date for this magical theme. Make sure to find mine and Katie’s posts to link back to that day so we can add you all to the participant list for everybody to blog hop and discuss!
Reminders:
Katie and I have come to a decision about the Twitter Chat. Normally having been held at 8 p.m. EST on the 3rd Sunday of the month, we’ve had many people unable to attend due to time zone differences,, thus, prompting us to make a new Chat schedule.
In December, the first question of the Twitter Chat (under hashtag #CGBChat) will be posted on the morning of the 17th and you all will have the entire day to respond. The next day will have a new question posted, and so on until Friday, December 21, with the last question of the chat.
We hope this helps with those who have never been able to attend the chats before. ❤
And, don’t forget to vote for January’s theme! Voting will close Sunday December 9th at midnight EST.
If you love getting monthly newsletters with updates, make sure you sign up for the Calendar Girls newsletter!
For those who are new to Calendar Girls, it is a monthly blog event that was inspired by the Neil Sedaka song, Calendar Girl. Just like the song, each month has a specific theme, voted on by the participants, where we get to talk about a particular book we love or think fits the theme the best. The blog event was created to incite fun bookish discussions and to spread the blogger love by introducing us to new bloggers and/or books that we have not come across before.
If this sounds like something you would enjoy, make sure to head to my Calendar Girls info page! Drop a comment and let me know if you are interested in joining us.
